The Viroqua Area School District values the health and well-being of our students, staff and families. Middle School Students had a fabulous time with their "Rockin Read-A-Thon" today. Great job Student Council, their Advisors and Staff who helped kids see the fun and excitement of reading!




Good luck to Aaliyah on her trip to state gymnastics! She will be competing Saturday, March 7th in the individual competition on the vault! Go Blackhawks!

Would you like to know more about our newest District school? Trillium MS is a Viroqua Public School whose Teachers provide our 7th and 8th grade students a personalized, project-based curriculum and authentic learning experiences. Please contact the school for information.

Viroqua Area Schools are delayed 2 hours today, Tuesday, Feb. 18 due to slippery road conditions in the area.

We have cancelled all after school and evening activities at Viroqua Schools Monday, Feb. 17. Our regular School Board Meeting for tonight is also cancelled and has been rescheduled to next Monday, Feb. 24, at 7:00 PM in the MS/HS Library. Thank you.

Viroqua Area Schools will be releasing early today, Monday Feb. 17, at 1:00pm Elementary & 1:15pm Middle & High Schools. Forecasts indicate inclement weather beginning this afternoon. We want our children to be safely home before travel becomes unsafe. Thank you!

The 3rd Grade Invention Fair is moved to 10:45-11:30 in 3rd grade classrooms today.

Viroqua Area Schools will be delayed 2 hours today, Friday, Feb. 14, due to very low wind-chill temperatures.

Our High School Teachers are getting into the spirit for Twin Day during Winterfest Week!


Due to the forecast being in the negative temps, the MS ski trip has been canceled for Friday, Feb. 14th. The reschedule date will be announced soon.

Ms. Strachan wanted to share a few neat pictures from the "Math for the Trades" class today. We had a visit from the county and the kids got to learn about the math behind road salt!
